# CommercialBuses

> Dealer-to-dealer bus sourcing. When a bus dealer has a qualified buyer but no suitable bus in stock, they send the buyer's requirements to CommercialBuses, and CommercialBuses searches participating dealer inventory for an available unit that meets every must-have. Not a marketplace where buyers and sellers contact each other: public listings are anonymized and every deal starts with an introduction. Not a lead-generation service, not a dealer CRM.

## The one-sentence version

Sell your own inventory first. When you do not have the bus your buyer needs, send CommercialBuses the request, and we search participating dealer inventory for a suitable available unit.

## Who it is for

- **Demand dealers** — a bus dealership or salesperson with a qualified buyer and no suitable unit in stock. Primary action: "Find a Bus".
- **Inventory partners** — a bus dealership with buses available for sale. Primary action: "Add My Inventory". Free to participate.

It is not for retail bus buyers. The end buyer is served by their own dealer; CommercialBuses works dealer-to-dealer.

## Pricing (facts, not marketing)

- Searching is **free**. The first **confirmed match** is free.
- Then $299 per month **per dealership location**. Cancel anytime.
- Inventory partners pay **$0**. No listing fee, subscription, setup fee, or exclusivity requirement.
- **No commission, no percentage of the sale, no per-match fee.**
- A founding rate of $199/month exists for the first 10 paying locations, locked 12 months.

## What counts as a successful search

Searching is free without limit. The free allowance is one **confirmed match**, meaning all four are true:

1. The bus satisfies every buyer must-have captured in the request.
2. The supplying dealer has confirmed the unit is currently available.
3. The supplying dealer is willing to discuss the unit with the requesting dealer.
4. CommercialBuses can identify the actual source dealer and unit.

If nothing suitable is found, it does not count. Five suitable buses for one request is one successful search, not five.

## Deal protection

- Buyer identity is **not required** to run a search.
- Inventory partners see the requirements and the requesting dealership's name. They do not see the end buyer.
- CommercialBuses **never solicits the end buyer**.
- Every introduction is logged, with attribution to the originating dealership preserved.

## Availability is stated explicitly, never implied

Each unit carries one of six states: source listed, recently checked, confirmed available, pending confirmation, unavailable, unknown. Presence in a dataset is not treated as availability. Only "confirmed available" can support a confirmed match.

## Business boundary

CommercialBuses.com is an inventory-search and dealer-network service, not a vehicle dealer, seller, or broker. The supplying dealer represents the vehicle and controls its price and sale. CommercialBuses does not take title, hold buyer funds, or negotiate the vehicle sale on behalf of either party.
