About CommercialBuses
We are a sourcing desk for bus dealers. When you have a qualified buyer and nothing suitable on your lot, you send us the spec and we look for the unit inside other dealers' inventory.
The problem we exist for
A bus dealer turns away real, closeable business every month for one reason: the right unit is not in stock. The buyer is qualified, the budget is real, the timeline is real, and the deal goes to whoever does have it. Dealer trades solve this between two dealers who already know each other. Nothing solves it at the scale of a whole market.
That is the entire job here. Not lead generation, not advertising, not another place to list inventory. Just the part where somebody finds the bus.
How it actually works
You send the requirements: type, capacity, accessibility, fuel, condition, budget, and where it needs to end up. We search participating dealer inventory against every hard requirement, confirm with the supplying dealer that the unit is genuinely available, and come back with what we found. If we cannot find it, we say so.
When there is a match and you want it, we make the introduction and you deal with the supplying dealer directly, the same way a dealer trade has always worked. The longer version is here.
What we will not do
This is the part that matters most, so it is written down rather than implied. We do not contact your buyer. We do not require their identity in the first place. We do not take a commission or a percentage of the sale. We do not resell the vehicle, hold title, or become a party to the transaction. Supplying dealers agree to non-circumvention before any introduction is made, and every introduction is logged with attribution to your dealership.
You stay the selling dealer. How that is enforced.
What it costs
Searching is free and your first confirmed match is free. After that it is a flat monthly subscription per dealership location, cancel any time. There is no commission, no percentage of the sale, and no per-match fee, because a percentage would give us a reason to push a deal that is wrong for your buyer. Dealers who contribute inventory pay nothing at all. Current pricing.
Where the inventory comes from
From dealers who have chosen to participate, using inventory feeds they already maintain. Public listings on this site are anonymized: you can see the unit, not the dealer, until an introduction is made. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a limitation of the software, and it is what makes participating safe for a dealer who does not want their stock list treated as a lead source. What participating involves.
Where we are
We work across the United States. Coverage is not uniform, and it is honest to say so: it is deepest where participating dealers are densest, and we are actively adding supply where requests keep arriving that we cannot fill. If we cannot cover you yet, the search costs you nothing and we will tell you plainly.
Talk to us
A person reads everything that comes in. Send us a question, or if you have a buyer waiting, send us the spec and let the result speak for itself.
