Deal protection
Your buyer stays your buyer.
Deal protection works like a dealer trade: you stay the selling dealer, and the unit comes from another dealer's inventory. You already know this move. We run it between bus dealers who have never met.
CommercialBuses does not require your buyer's identity to run a search, never shares buyer identity with inventory partners by default, never solicits your buyer, and logs every introduction with permanent attribution to your dealership. The dealer who submits the request owns the buyer relationship.
It is not just a policy. Before any introduction, the supplying dealer agrees to non-circumvention: they do not go around you to your buyer, on this deal or after it.
- We don't ask for your buyer's name
- The search runs on requirements, not identity. Buyer contact details are optional and are never included in what a supplying dealer sees.
- Inventory dealers see the spec, not your customer
- A supplying dealer gets the requirements, the destination region, and your dealership name. Nothing else is shared.
- We never solicit your buyer
- A buyer who reaches us through your request is not a lead we own. We do not market to them, now or later.
- Every introduction is logged
- Who was connected, when, and by whom. Attribution to your dealership is preserved on the record permanently.
- We are not the seller
- The supplying dealer represents the unit, sets the price, and closes their side. We don't take title, hold funds, or negotiate the vehicle sale.
What a supplying dealer actually receives
There is no field on it that could carry your customer's identity.
They see
- A reference number
- The must-have requirements
- The preferences
- The budget range
- The delivery region
- The timeline
- The quantity
- Your dealership name
They never see
- Your buyer's name
- Your buyer's organization
- Your buyer's phone number
- Your buyer's email address
- Your salesperson's contact details
- Your buyer's exact address
- Any note you wrote for our operators
- Anything about your other requests
The one exception is an approved handoff: if you and your buyer decide the supplying dealer needs to speak to the buyer directly, an operator records that decision against the introduction before anything is shared. It is a deliberate act by a person, logged, never a default.
Where we stop
CommercialBuses is an inventory-search and dealer-network service. We are not the seller, and we do not act as a broker in the sale.
- The vehicle stays represented by the actual supplying dealer.
- The supplying dealer controls its price and its sale.
- We do not take title.
- We do not hold buyer funds.
- We do not negotiate the vehicle sale on behalf of either party.
- We do not present ourselves as the owner or seller of another dealer's inventory.
- Every dealer-to-dealer introduction clearly identifies the actual inventory dealer.
This describes how the product is built. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace your own counsel on motor-vehicle dealer and broker rules in your state.
